Why do we love photographing weddings? Well, there are so many reasons and we could talk about it for hours but this Lyde Court wedding explains it all. It’s so great that after many years of experience, our couples can still surprise us with the uniqueness of their wedding and the personal touches that they introduce into their special day. Chris and Kath’s day was absolutely packed with brilliant people, moments, laughter and love!

I have been a wedding photographer at Lyde Court a few times now and it always exceeds my photographic expectations. I consider Lyde Court to be one of the best wedding venues in the UK, I absolutely love this truly remarkable place. Lyde Court is not only distinguished by its outstanding location but most importantly, by its extremely friendly, energetic and professional staff. There are also so many photo opportunities in and around the barns, a photographers dream come true!

After the bridal preparations which took place at the cottages just a few miles away from Hereford, the wedding party made their way to the Lyde Court Barn for the marriage ceremony and reception. Kath and her bridesmaids arrived in style in the beautifully restored 1964 & 1965 Volkswagen’s, split screens fashionably named “Betsy” & “Bertie” provided by Dreambus. After their outdoor wedding ceremony the couple toasted their marriage in the upper Lyde Court gardens in glorious sunshine with a glass of champagne overlooking the spectacular views of Herefordshire.

Chris and Kath’s first dance marked the beginning of the evening celebrations, followed by the amazing music played by Grant from The Boutique Disco which resulted in some great dance moves on a crowded dance floor!
