Wedding season – Late Spring
Wedding Venue – Ettington Park Hotel
As a West Midlands Wedding Photographer, many couples thinking of getting married find our services on line, which was the case for Hannah and Ian who then arranged to meet me a few weeks before their wedding day to discuss their plans in more detail. The chosen venue for the ceremony and celebrations would be at Ettington Park in Stratford Upon Avon Warwickshire, a neo gothic mansion set in 40 acres of parkland in the verdant valley, Ettington Park was a perfect setting for Hannah and Ian to get married and to celebrate afterwards with family and friends.
The day started with Hanna and Ian’s wedding preparations which all took place at the venue, with the ceremony taking place outdoors at the Orangery overlooking the beautiful Victorian gardens, thankfully the weather was good but quite windy which made for some challenging camera work as the light was constantly changing!
With the weather being fair, a drinks reception was held outside followed by a few family photos, then whilst the guests made their way to the Long Gallery for the reception I took the opportunity to steal Hannah and Ian away from the wedding party for some portrait photographs of the couple around the venue.
The Long Gallery was originally the library and was perfect for the wedding breakfast with beautiful views over the gardens and was also the venue for the evening party. Speeches were made, then afterwards during the golden hour just before sunset when the sky is softer, we took the opportunity to take some more photos of the bride and groom.
Soon it was time for dancing, live music accompanied the bride and groom, wedding party and friends, what a wonderful way to end a perfect day, congratulations Hannah and Ian we wish you a very happy life together.
