Wedding Photographers Italy – Riomaggiore & Vernazza
Fishing, Italian wine, white sand, pesto pasta, breathtaking views, blue sea, heatwave, cliffs.
What an incredible experience it was to visit one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Italy, Cinque Terre to document a Destination Wedding of Mark and Monica. We met the couple in Riomaggiore prior to the wedding and we immediately realised how awesome and adventurous they were. The village is situated near La Spezia in a small valley in the Liguria region of Italy, dating from the early thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and its wine which we obviously enjoyed too.
It was a wonderful opportunity as Destination wedding photographers to capture some great pictures and video of these two in such incredible location. Soon it was time for drinks reception and wedding breakfast which was held in Vernazza – one of the 5 centuries old villages that make up the Cinque Terre. It is the only natural port in this area and is famous for its elegant and colourful houses.
Toasts were made, then afterwards during the golden hour just before sunset, we took the opportunity to capture some more frames of the bride and groom. We really felt like a part of Mark and Monica’s family and we are super grateful that we were lucky enough to enjoy this incredibly pretty area of Italy, its architecture, luxurious hotel rooms and stunning landscapes.
