This Lyde Court Wedding was photographed on Friday 31th October 2014, and features the matrimony of Mark and Sophie. I have been a Lyde Court wedding photographer a few times now, but none before on Halloween night. Lyde Court is set in a private and isolated Herefordshire valley, yet is astonishingly only two miles from Hereford City centre. Weddings take place in 17th Century Stone Barns, which are next to the main house and gardens. The barns have undergone minimal changes in 400 years and are completely unspoilt. Stone walls, vaulted ceilings, elm beams and arrow slit windows create an atmospheric awe inspiring venue.
After the bridal and groom preparations which took place at the main house, the wedding party made their way to the Lyde Court Barn for the marriage ceremony and reception. I absolutely loved the way they decorated the barn. This exceeded all my expectation and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph.
Thank you Mark & Sophie for the incredible honor of being your wedding photographer. I wish you all the best for your future together. I hope to catch up with you soon for a cappuccino and a chat.
