Walcot Hall Wedding Photography

All that You are is all that I’ll ever need!

We are super excited to share this fabulous Walcot Hall wedding of Emily and James in Lydbury North, Shropshire. We have been Walcot Hall wedding photographers quite a few times now and we personally think that the venue is one of the UK’s most unusual and quirkiest places for your big day. There is so much space (30 acres of ground to be exact!) for creative photos including the extensive lake, beautiful forest full of unique caravans, statues and abandoned cars to name a few!

Emily and Matt visited our office about a year before the wedding to tell us all about their plans. It was great to hear that they choose us due to our relaxed approach and natural photography style. The day arrived and as usual we split up in the morning to take photographs of the bride and grooms wedding preparations. Emily had chosen to get ready for the day in the Passey with all her bridesmaids, whilst Matt was with his groomsmen getting ready at the Dipping Shed – It’s absolutely incredible for photos! (Venue’s Map included below – It’s a huge land!).

Soon it was time to make their way to the St Michael & All Angels for the ceremony followed by an amazing confetti tunnel outside the church (The more confetti the better – Always!). Afterwards, the wedding party, friends and guests made their way back to the venue’s gardens for the drinks reception, whilst we stole the newlyweds away for a few snapshots in the stunning breathtaking backdrop of the Shropshire Hills. The Ballroom at Walcot Hall was magnificent with so many decorations and favours, which was where the wedding breakfast was held and speeches given. Soon it was time for the first dance with Emily and Matt taking to the floor closely followed by the rest of the party, what a fantastic time was had by all!
