The Mule Shed Wedding
When I hold You in my arms, I feel like I am holding the the whole world!
The Mule Shed wedding barn is a working sheep farm deep in the Herefordshire marches, between Hereford and Abergavenny overlooking the stunning Black Mountains with views as far as Shropshire. We are so lucky to be their recommended wedding suppliers and even more excited to share Sam and Sarah’s fabulous day. The couple met us at the venue prior to the big day to discuss all individual requirements and ideas. We absolutely fell in love with the place and most importantly with the venue’s staff who are extremely helpful and relaxed. We so look forward to coming back to this truly spectacular wedding venue!
Sarah got ready at The Wood House near Hereford in the morning, with her bridesmaids and family whilst Sam got ready with his groomsmen at home. Soon it was time to make their way to the venue for the outdoor ceremony in the main courtyard. Thankfully the rain stopped minutes before the service and we were able to continue the celebrations. The Mule Shed offers quite a few locations for the service and there is always a plan B in case of bad weather. However, as wedding photographers we much prefer great outdoors due to unlimited space, surroundings, backdrops and freedom of angles we can take. Plus, as you will already be outside, you will be ready to start the party straight away with a drink or two and some canapés as you take in the surroundings. Afterwards the guests and wedding party enjoyed a drinks reception in the gardens, where we took the opportunity to take a few group shots and some amazing portraits of the wedding party. As usual some confetti and smoke bombs were used which is always a great combo to increase the fun levels.

The barn looked incredibly beautiful with so many decorations and favours, which was where the wedding breakfast was held and speeches given. From the photography point of view one of the highlights of this stunning wedding was the first dance which took place outside in front of the barn. What an incredible experience and spectacular views for guests and family! Can we please do it at every wedding here in the UK? (weather permitting). When evening came, we went back to the top of a mountain for a few sunset photos and we must admit it was the icing on the cake to finish this magical day.
So here are a few favourites to capture the day! Sam and Sarah, we absolutely loved every single moment of your special day! Thank you for choosing us to be The Mule Shed wedding photographers. What a fantastic wedding guys! As usual the complete gallery of wedding photography is available to view for friends and family via online private gallery.
The natural decor looks great, love the wooden arch. The bridesmaids are also kinda cool with the smoke grenades :)
Love it mate. All the vibe, the colors and this outdoor – would love to shoot more outdoor relaxed weddings. Great stuff.
