Hedingham Castle Wedding

Hedingham Castle wedding of Denessa and Jason was definitely one to remember. We were super excited when the couple asked us to be a part of their Essex wedding. We woke up to a beautiful blue sky day and as usual we split up in the morning to take photographs of the bride and grooms wedding preparations. Denessa had chosen to get ready for the day near Newmarket in Suffolk with all her bridesmaids and immediate family, whilst Jason was with his groomsmen getting ready at the reception venue in Halstead, Essex. Soon it was time to make their way to the Hedingham Castle for the service in the most romantic and unique rooms we have ever seen. When the guests had all assembled in the room, Denessa made her way down the aisle, accompanied by music she looked absolutely stunning. The wedding reception may get all of the attention, but the most significant and emotional part of the big day is the ceremony. Afterwards, the wedding party, friends and guests made their way back to the venue’s gardens for the drinks reception, whilst we stole the newlyweds away for a few snapshots in the stunning breathtaking backdrop of the Hedingham Castle followed by an amazing confetti tunnel on the way out.

The barn in Halstead looked incredibly beautiful with so many decorations and favours, which was where the wedding breakfast was held and speeches given. Bride and Groom paid attention to every single detail and it honestly exceeded all our expectations. Wedding flower chandeliers and DIY table decorations make weddings utterly unforgettable and feel as close to a fairy tale as they do to reality. Especially by introducing tall blossom trees, drawing the eye upwards and adding a romantic finishing touch. It was absolutely amazing to experience a mixture of traditional castle wedding ceremony with a relaxed, quirky and countryside reception – All in one day. A peaceful setting with lakes, fields, trees and barns was a fantastic choice to enjoy this fabulous day with family and friends. Soon it was time for the first dance with Denessa and James taking to the floor closely followed by the rest of the party, what a fantastic time was had by all!
