Wedding Videography Kent

We were over the moon when Abuzer and Vida commissioned us to be their wedding videographers and photographers. The couple decided to host their romantic wedding ceremony at spectacular Botany Bay in Margate, Kent. This was our first time visiting this timeless English seaside holiday town on the Kent coast combining old world charm with 21st Century culture. The town boasts over 250 years as one of the leading seaside resorts in the country, alongside its neighbour Ramsgate. Our biggest concern was the weather on the day especially in April. Abuzer and Vida had no plan B. Therefore, I started praying to photography Gods for a nice and blue sky day and they listened! We literally couldn’t hope for better weather.

We had the pleasure of capturing both film and photography and as usual we started the day with the morning preps of the Bride and Groom. Vida and Abuzer had chosen to get ready for the day with all their friends and family in a nearby Airbnb which overlooks the beautiful, sandy Margate Beach. This is probably the most popular part of the town. It was really great to see so many people enjoying themselves in the local restaurants, on the beach and the prom. So great to see the life is slowly getting back to normal after such a long Covid break. Soon it was time to make their way to the Botany Bay which is the northernmost of seven bays in Broadstairs. It features chalk cliffs and is a popular tourist location. Hit play and enjoy this short wedding film.

Botany Bay Beach Wedding

One of the highlights of this stunningly unique wedding was the outdoor ceremony. We were extremely excited about filming and photographing a beach wedding. We love outdoors ceremonies due to unlimited space, surroundings, backdrops and freedom of photo and video angles we can take. When the guests had all assembled, Vida made her way down the Botany Bay beach for the wedding ceremony. It really was a breathtaking scene for the family and guests to watch Abuzer and Vida getting hitched in such spectacular location as the above wedding film will testament. Afterwards, the wedding party enjoyed the drinks reception, whilst we stole the newlyweds away for a few snapshots in the stunning backdrop of the southeast coast followed by an amazing sparkles tunnel on the way out. Once the sun goes down, there’s no better way to crown off the end of a fantastic day – not to mention the amazing photo opportunities that go with it. As many of you know we absolutely adore shooting during golden hour and we squeezed the whole juice out of it that day – Photographers and Videographers dream come true!
