Hampton Court Castle wedding of Ana and Nathan exceeded all our expectations and we were super excited when these two beautiful humans asked us to be their wedding photographers! Hampton Court Castle is a breathtaking, exclusive use wedding venue. Set in the delightful Herefordshire countryside, surrounded by vast lawns, a stunning woodland backdrop, and magnificent award-winning gardens, the estate has an interesting and varied history.

We met Nathan and Ana a few months before their special day to discuss their individual requirements and we clicked instantly! It’s fair to say that after all these years in the wedding industry we now specialise in photographing castle weddings. We knew their wedding was going to be memorable and we were over the moon to visit our local wedding venue once again. The couple had decided to host both their ceremony and reception at Hampton Court. We woke up to the most gorgeous weather and as usual we split up to take photographs of the bride and grooms wedding preparations. It must have been one of the hottest summer days here in the UK – it was blazing hot. We literally couldn’t hope for better weather. Ana had chosen to get ready for the day with all her bridesmaids in The Bridal Suite located on a separate wing and accessible via the impressive cantilever staircase. It overlooks the main drive and lake, which not only provides stunning views but also gives you the opportunity to secretly see your guests arriving below!

Herefordshire Wedding Photography

One of the highlights of this stunningly unique wedding venue is their outdoor ceremony area located in the romantic central courtyard. When the guests had all assembled, Ana made her way down the red aisle carpet for the wedding ceremony. It really was a breathtaking scene for the family and guests to watch Ana and Nathan getting hitched in such spectacular location. The wedding reception may get all of the attention, but the most significant and emotional part of the big day is the ceremony. Afterwards, the wedding party, friends and guests made their way back to the venue’s gardens for the drinks reception, whilst we stole the newlyweds away for a few snapshots in the stunning breathtaking backdrop of the Hampton Court Castle followed by an amazing confetti tunnel on the way out. The Ball Room looked incredibly beautiful with so many decorations, fresh flowers and favours, which was where the wedding breakfast was held and speeches given. When evening came, we went back to the Ball Room for the cake cutting. Soon it was time for the first dance with the bride and groom taking to the floor closely followed by the rest of the party. We also lighted up the evening by smoke bombs! They are absolutely great fun and always a feast for the eye!
