Hampton Court Castle Wedding
All that you are is all that I’ll ever need.
The Hampton Court Castle wedding of Ana and Nathan truly exceeded all our expectations, and we were genuinely excited when these two beautiful humans asked us to capture their wedding day. Hampton Court Castle is one of those venues that never fails to impress, no matter how many times we visit. As an exclusive-use wedding venue set in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, it offers everything you could hope for — sweeping lawns, a stunning woodland backdrop, and magnificent award-winning gardens, all wrapped up in a venue with a rich and fascinating history.
From the moment you arrive for Hampton Court Castle wedding, it feels special. The scale of the estate, the sense of privacy, and the timeless elegance of the building itself make it a dream location for a wedding. It’s a place where every corner feels considered, and every backdrop works beautifully for photography. Being lucky enough to have this venue on our doorstep here in Herefordshire is something we never take for granted.
We met Nathan and Ana a few months before their wedding day to talk through their Hampton Court Castle wedding plans, ideas, and what mattered most to them. From that very first meeting, we clicked instantly. After many years working in the wedding industry, it’s fair to say we now specialise in photographing castle weddings, and we knew straight away that their Hampton Court Castle wedding was going to be something really memorable. We were over the moon to be returning to one of our favourite local venues once again.

The couple decided to host both their ceremony and reception at Hampton Court Castle, which meant the entire day flowed effortlessly from start to finish. On the morning of the wedding, we woke up to the most gorgeous weather — clear skies and blazing sunshine. In fact, it turned out to be one of the hottest summer days we’ve had in the UK. It was seriously warm, but honestly, we couldn’t have hoped for better conditions.
As usual, we split up to photograph both the bride and groom getting ready. Ana chose to get ready with all of her bridesmaids in the beautiful Bridal Suite, located in a separate wing of the castle and accessed via the impressive cantilever staircase. The suite overlooks the main drive and lake, offering stunning views across the grounds. One of our favourite little details about this space is that you can quietly watch guests arriving below — a lovely, almost secret moment before the day really begins.
Nathan, meanwhile, spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen elsewhere in the castle, enjoying a relaxed build-up filled with laughter and anticipation. These pre-ceremony moments are always some of our favourites to photograph — the nerves, the excitement, and the quiet moments before everything kicks off.
One of the standout features of each Hampton Court Castle wedding is its outdoor ceremony area, set within the romantic central courtyard. Once guests had assembled, Ana made her way down the red aisle carpet for the ceremony. It was a genuinely breathtaking moment, watching her walk towards Nathan in such a spectacular setting. The ceremony itself was emotional, personal, and beautifully intimate — a reminder that while the reception often gets a lot of attention, the ceremony is truly the heart of the wedding day.
Afterwards, guests made their way into the castle gardens for the drinks reception, soaking up the sunshine and celebrating with the newlyweds. While everyone enjoyed a drink and some well-earned socialising, we stole Ana and Nathan away for a short portrait session around the grounds. Each Hampton Court Castle wedding offers endless opportunities for stunning photographs, and the light that afternoon was absolutely perfect. We also finished this part of the day with an incredible confetti tunnel, which always makes for such fun, energetic images.
The wedding breakfast and speeches were held in the Ball Room, which looked absolutely stunning. The room was beautifully styled with fresh flowers, thoughtful details, and elegant décor that complemented the castle perfectly. The speeches were full of laughter, emotion, and heartfelt moments — exactly how they should be.
As evening arrived, we returned to the Ball Room for the cake cutting, followed by the first dance. Ana and Nathan took to the floor together before being joined by the rest of their guests, and the atmosphere quickly shifted into full celebration mode. To finish things off in style, we brought out the smoke bombs — always great fun and an absolute feast for the eyes, especially against the castle backdrop.
So here are a few of our favourite moments from this truly unforgettable day. Ana and Nathan, thank you so much for choosing us to be your Hampton Court Castle wedding photographers. What a fabulous wedding — we wish you both every happiness in your future life together. As always, the complete gallery of wedding photography is available for friends and family to view via a private online gallery. We hope you enjoy reliving the day through these images, and we can’t wait to return to this truly spectacular wedding venue again soon.
